This website is intentionally lean. Based on the current technical implementation, the public website does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. We currently do not use services such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Matomo, Plausible, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Meta/Facebook Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag.

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website, respond to inquiries, ensure the security and functionality of the website, or comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the processing activity, the relevant legal bases may include:
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps or for responding to an inquiry;

- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, where processing is required by law;
- Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), where personal data is processed in connection with an application or a decision on the establishment of an employment relationship.
3. Accessing the website and technical delivery
When you access this website, technically necessary data is processed so that the website can be delivered to your device. This may include:
- IP address;
- date and time of access;
- page or file requested;
- amount of data transferred;
- browser type and version;
- operating system;
- referrer URL, if transmitted;
- technical header information.
This data is processed to deliver the website, maintain system stability and security, and identify technical errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and functional provision of this website.
The website is hosted by IONOS. As part of hosting, technical access data may be processed in server logs. Based on the current technical implementation of this website, such data is not used for marketing or tracking purposes.
4. Cookies, tracking and analytics
The public website currently does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies.
In particular, we currently do not use:
- Google Analytics;
- Google Tag Manager;
- Matomo;
- Plausible;
- Hotjar;
- Microsoft Clarity;
- Meta/Facebook Pixel;
- LinkedIn Insight Tag;
- other marketing or retargeting pixels.
Based on the current technical implementation, no non-essential cookies are set before user interaction and no non-essential data is stored in localStorage or sessionStorage.
The public website mainly loads same-origin resources such as theme files, WordPress resources and form logic. For this reason, no cookie banner is currently used.
If we introduce analytics, marketing, tracking or external embedded services in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such services are activated. Where required, an appropriate consent mechanism will also be introduced.
5. Contact and inquiry forms
This website provides several forms, including:
- general contact form;
- senior collaboration form;
- working student inquiry/application form.
If you use a form, we process the data you enter. Depending on the form, this may include:
- first and last name;
- email address;
- phone number, if provided;
- company or organisation;
- role or professional context;
- LinkedIn profile, if provided;
- content of your message;
- information about collaboration, expertise, market, region, availability or application context;
- consent information, where you provide optional consent.
For technical and security-related reasons, the following data may also be processed when a form is submitted:
- date and time of the inquiry;
- source page or form URL;
- IP address;
- browser user agent;
- technical processing and mail delivery status information.
The forms are processed by a HumanRelevant-specific forms plugin. The submitted form content is sent to HumanRelevant by email. Form entries are not stored in WordPress. File uploads are not processed through the website. If documents such as a CV or further information are required, we will provide a separate secure upload route where needed.
Internal notifications are sent to the configured internal recipient address. If the form is processed successfully, you will also receive an automatic confirmation email.
The legal basis for general contact and business inquiries is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry relates to pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the responsible handling of incoming inquiries and business communication.
For application or working student inquiries, we process the data for the purpose of deciding on the possible establishment of an employment, activity or collaboration relationship. Where applicable, the legal basis is Section 26 BDSG in conjunction with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If you optionally consent in the working student form to your data being stored for future suitable opportunities for up to 12 months, this processing is based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.
6. Spam protection and form security
To protect against automated spam, we use a hidden honeypot field. This helps identify automated submissions without using an external captcha or tracking system.
We currently do not use Google reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile or any comparable external captcha service.
For technical form security, WordPress nonce fields and validation checks are used. Safe diagnostic information may be stored, such as form type, language, validation status and mail delivery status. SMTP passwords and submitted messages are not recorded in the diagnostic information.
7. Email communication and SMTP delivery
If you contact us via a form, your inquiry will be processed by email. The website uses configured HumanRelevant mailboxes for this purpose.
For German-language forms, the HumanRelevant sender address hallo@humanrelevant.com is used. For English-language forms, the sender address hello@humanrelevant.com is used.
Internal notifications may use the email address you provided as the Reply-To address so that we can respond directly to your inquiry. Automatic confirmation emails use the relevant HumanRelevant sender mailbox as Reply-To.
8. Recipients and processors
Recipients of personal data are limited to those persons and functions that need the data to respond to your inquiry, operate the website or comply with legal obligations.
We use IONOS for hosting and technical delivery. Where IONOS processes personal data on our behalf, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement.
Based on the current technical implementation, data is not shared with third parties for advertising, tracking or profiling purposes.
9. External links
This website contains links to external websites, including professional, regulatory or informational sources and external profiles. These links are ordinary outbound links. Merely visiting this website does not load content from those third-party providers.
If you click an external link, you leave this website. Any subsequent data processing by the relevant third-party provider is governed by that provider's privacy information.
10. Retention
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law.
Data from general contact and business inquiries is processed for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry and any subsequent communication. If this results in a contractual or mandate relationship, further statutory retention obligations may apply.
Application and working student data is processed for the duration of the selection and decision process. If you optionally consent to storage for future suitable opportunities, the relevant data may be stored for up to 12 months unless you withdraw your consent earlier.
Technical server and security data is processed only for as long as necessary for operation, security, error analysis and abuse prevention.
